Registration Disclaimer, Waiver & Refund Policy
Please read carefully before completing registration. By registering your child for any Keystone State Future Stars Flag Football Academy (KSFFA) program, event, or training session, you — the parent or legal guardian — acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to all terms and conditions stated below.
No Refund Policy
All registration fees paid to KSFFA are non-refundable. This applies to all events, training sessions, camps, and tournament programs regardless of the reason for withdrawal, including but not limited to injury, illness, scheduling conflicts, personal emergencies, or voluntary withdrawal. Registration fees are also non-transferable to another athlete or future event without the express written approval of KSFFA leadership.
Event Cancellation & Postponement
KSFFA reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any event due to weather, low registration, facility issues, or circumstances beyond our control. In the event of a full cancellation by KSFFA, registered participants will receive a credit toward a future KSFFA event. No cash refunds will be issued for KSFFA-initiated cancellations. In the event of a postponement, registrations will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date.
Assumption of Risk
I understand and acknowledge that participation in flag football and related athletic activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, and other physical injuries. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child's participation in KSFFA programs and activities, whether those risks are known or unknown.
Medical Authorization & Health Disclosure
I certify that my child is physically fit and able to participate in flag football activities. I authorize KSFFA staff and/or on-site medical personnel to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment for my child in the event I cannot be reached. I agree to disclose any known medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations on the registration form. KSFFA is not responsible for any adverse health events resulting from undisclosed medical conditions.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the Keystone State Future Stars Flag Football Academy, its founders, directors, coaches, staff, volunteers, venue partners, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, or liability arising out of or related to my child's participation in KSFFA programs, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Photo & Media Release
I grant KSFFA permission to photograph and/or record video of my child during KSFFA events, training sessions, and activities. I authorize KSFFA to use these images and recordings for promotional purposes including but not limited to social media, website content, marketing materials, and sponsor communications, without compensation.
Code of Conduct
I agree that my child and I will conduct ourselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times during KSFFA events. KSFFA reserves the right to remove any athlete, parent, guardian, or spectator from an event for disruptive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior without refund. Repeated violations may result in permanent removal from KSFFA programming.
Accuracy of Information
I certify that all information provided during registration is true and accurate. I understand that providing false information, including misrepresentation of my child's age or eligibility, may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.
Change of Program Details
KSFFA reserves the right to modify event schedules, formats, age divisions, coaching staff, and programming details at any time. Reasonable changes to the event structure do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes arising from participation in KSFFA programs shall be resolved in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
By completing online registration or signing a paper registration form, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the registered athlete, that I am at least 18 years of age, and that I agree to all terms and conditions stated above.
